American Specialties' 42 in. x 1-1/2 in. 3800-Series Straight Grab Bar w/ Flange Covers optimizes facility risk management through a smart, anti-vandal structural configuration. The assembly utilizes 1/8 in. thick concealed mounting flanges featuring two screw holes and three locking dimples to establish a rock-solid connection with wall framing or structural blocking. Once the bar is securely anchored, heavy-duty 22-gauge snap-on escutcheon covers slide firmly over the dimpled perimeter to completely hide the underlying mounting fasteners from view. This streamlined design discourages casual tampering, eliminates sharp hardware edge exposure, and maintains code-compliant architectural standards while supporting independent mobility for guests, patients, and residents.
