A193 B7 Plain All-Thread Rods are well suited for hanging, bracing, mounting, supporting, and fastening assemblies where dependable threaded engagement is important. ASTM A193 Grade B7 alloy steel offers substantially higher strength than common low-carbon threaded rod, making this hardware appropriate for applications involving elevated mechanical loads and demanding service conditions. Continuous 3/8 in.-16 threading allows nuts or other threaded components to be positioned at virtually any point along the rod, providing flexibility during installation. The plain surface is also useful where the rod will be further processed, protected, or incorporated into an application with its own corrosion-control requirements.
