Self-Furred V grooved expanded metal lath is manufactured with 'V'-grooves in the lath in lieu of standard 'dimples.' These 5 grooves provide the necessary 1/4' furring off the sheathing's surface to allow for proper embedment and keying of the scratch coat on all types of walls.
